How CUET Scores Work
Unlike JEE, CUET does not release a single All India Rank. Instead:
- You get a percentile score for each subject.
- Universities create their own merit lists based on the specific subjects they require.
- For example, if you applied for B.Sc. Chemistry at DU, they’ll look at your Chemistry + English scores.
What is a Good Score in CUET 2027?

| 700+ | Excellent — Top DU colleges, BHU, JNU likely |
| 650-700 | Very Good — Good DU colleges, most central universities |
| 600-650 | Good — Decent colleges and courses |
| 500-600 | Average — May get admission in less competitive courses |
| Below 500 | Below Average — Need solid backup options |
Note: These are rough estimates. Actual cutoffs vary by university, course, category, and number of applicants.
No Normalization (Good News!)
For CUET 2026, NTA announced no normalization of scores. This means your raw score is what universities see. This simplifies things because you don’t have to worry about shift-wise difficulty adjustments.
